The phrase “D.C. traffic” conjures up a very specific idea of what hell is like. Virginia’s Atlantic Gateway Project got a boost of $165 million from the federal government. According to The Virginian-Pilot, although the project focuses on Northern Virginia, it could impact Hampton Roads by improving bus and rail lines between the areas.
